I’m Marla, your lead guide. I’ve spent the last fourteen years learning these landscapes the slow way — on foot, by paddle, around the fire. Ask me anything before you book.
Meet the crewAn absolutely phenomenal week.
Five days in the high country quietly reset everything. The crew handled the gear, the food, the camps — all I had to do was walk, look up, and let it land. Faultless from start to finish.

Our guides have spent years — in some cases decades — on the exact trails, rivers and ridgelines you’ll travel. That depth shapes every call we make, from the best bend in the river to where to be standing at first light.
Every trip price covers the technical kit you need on the water or the trail: tents, sleep systems, cooking setup, safety gear, and paddling or riding equipment where the route calls for it.
Much of where we go simply isn’t open without a guide. Over the years we’ve built the relationships — with parks and private landholders — that quietly open gates the general public never sees.

Started in 2017 by two ridge-obsessed locals who were convinced the best trips happen when you slow right down.
